About.
I'm Yalda! Seattle-based UX Designer & Front-end Developer.
Since 2007, I have experience working in diverse domains. I have worked with startups, agencies, and corporations, leading projects to create thoughtful digital & physical products used by thousands of people.
I have a hybrid role that combines creating user-centered designs with the technical expertise to implement them. My empathy for diverse communities enables me to design and build more inclusive, intuitive solutions.
I bring a unique perspective shaped by my experiences growing up in various cities and continents. Extensive travels exposed me to diverse cultures, languages, and ways of life, deeply influencing my design philosophy and approach to user experience.
Technology serves as a universal connector, yet it must also adapt to the nuances of local contexts.
Every new experience has offered a fresh perspective on how people interact with technology, revealing the profound differences in user needs, behaviors, and expectations across cultures. It’s been a continual evolution of my worldview, which now informs every pixel, line of code, and interaction I create.
In addition to my global perspective, I hold a deep belief in the power of the universe and the importance of nature.
My experiences across the world have not only influenced my design thinking but also deepened my connection to the environment. I feel a strong responsibility to give back to the planet, recognizing that we owe much to it.
